Russ just sent me a picture of a fish he caught this morning. It is huge! Mike took the picture and they set the fish free. The only trouble was when I got the email picture, it was upside down! Ha
I bake the best and most expensive cupcakes ever yesterday. They are gingerbread cupcakes with carmelize mango buttercream frosting. Yummy! The high cost was the recipe called for 1/4 c of candied ginger. I sent Russ to the store to find some. Well, after 2 phone calls to me and a clerk to help him find it, he came home with some, $ 7 for a McCormick spice bottle full. I ask if he'd looked at the cost and he said no, I needed it so he bought it!
I will make this recipe again but I went on line and found a recipe to make my own candied ginger!!!! LOl
Russ doesn't want the tree up this early but I needed something to get me in the mood for Christmas shopping. ( The Bradleys are done! They were easy!) Anyway I got out my snowman collectiion and put them on the big tv cabinet! I need a bunch more! It looked like a lot when they were setting on the table but I am way short. Russ did buy me one a Lowes Sunday. A big cute Mrs Snowwoman!
I need to go turn on some music or beat on pans or something! This house is too quiet with just me at home! Later....

Oh, that crap is expensive! Sometimes at Xmas time, you can find big, cheap containers of it by the candied cherries that they put out for making fruitcakes and stuff. I bet it would last for a long time in one of those reynold's vac baggies!
