It is WET!!!

Russ and I went to the grocery store this morning. When we walked out we had the hardest rain I have seen in months! We were parked right across from the door and got so wet we had to turn the heater on in the truck! It was a good thing Russ had a roll of paper towels in the back seat! I looked like someone had thrown me in a river. Needless to say we both took hot showers when we got home and I am in PJ's for the day!!

Our neighbors twin sons have a fencing business. This morning there was a wrecker in there drive. Russ thought the truck had broke down so he ask what was going on. Well, their second truck just got picked up by REPO Man!!! LOL. They are going to have a hard time carrying all that fencing on their backs! LOL So dumb!!

I am trying out a new Food Network recipe for dinner. Linguine with Shrimp and Lemon Oil. It really sounds good. We will see! I also found me some frozen rhubarb so I will make that rhubarb cobbler I wanted to try. Today is a good day to cook! I may go make some of Russ' sister's spicy potato soup, I forget the name but it has Velvetta and jalapenos in it! It is so good!

I have fresh peppers out on my patio and some tomatoes that are starting to ripe! Can't get better than that!!!

Mike went to a wedding yesterday. Thank God he didn't go to the bachelor party! A guy got shot to death!!! Right in the groom's house!!! We still don't know if he shot himself or someone else did it. Drinking idiots playing with guns!!! Egan, the groom, used to work for Mike and he always was a goober.
I am off to the kitchen to see what I can make!!! Have a great DRY weekend!!!

you have vegetables already? WOW! we had a frost warning last night and I checked this am and the cars are all frosted over!

Oh MY GOSH about the bachelor party. People just don't have a clue about thier alcohol consumption and the effects that it has on them and those around them. How terrible.

Holy Cow! Leave it to Egan to have friends that bring guns to a party. Geez. Glad Mike didn't go.

We don't even have tomatoes in the ground yet! We were waiting for the siding to go up. I'm glad we did, because some of our plants got a little banged up when they were throwing siding off the 2nd floor. They tried to be careful, but one of two went astray. Not exactly a lot of yard to work with on the side by the boat (which is STILL there!).

The strawberry patch has got a lot of blooms on it, so I'm hoping we get a good batch of those this year.

I don't think we'll be canning tomatoes on the scale that we did last year, though!
