Ruth ask how the garden grows

This is the zucchini and a couple of beets,

This is a rose in the yard. The mother plant either got moved or died. This came up as a year later all of a sudden. As you can see it has hundreds of buds on it. This is just a small part of the bush.

Our blooming green beans,

Sugar snap peas

Our baby tomatoes!
We have had radishes and sugar snap peas so far, oh and green onions, it all tastes so good. I can't wait for the shell peas and green beans!!!

that is just amazing!! I miss fresh veggies so much. I was going to stop at one of the big produce places yesterday on the way home from the mall to see if they had rhubarb yet--dying for some rhubarb crisp, but didn't feel like messing with it, but will check maybe this week-end.
And I want REAL tomatoes!!!
Mom and Dad had a rose bush like yours and had it growing up a metal trellis so Dad could mow around it. Mom would put on her garden gloves and cut a bunch of them and put them in a small vase--they always had the nicest smell, even though they were small!
